Boston is moving to the ship

The Boston Red sox are set to face Colorado after defeating Cleveland 11-2 in game seven. The Red sox won three games in a row to have yet another October comeback. The series is set to open Wednesday in Boston, although I do not perceive the Rockies being the least bit intimidated by the green monster.

The weather however might take a turn for the worst in these opening games at Fenway park. The Rockies were looking to work out yesterday at Fenway but were forced inside by a snow storm. The forecast is set for mild back in Denver for game 3, that is if we get passed the blizzards of the first three games.

Giants take Fifth Straight win

With a combine six sacks, two interceptions, and two fumble recoveries.
It is no wonder how the giants took there fifth win in a row over the 49ers. The defense did the job by forcing four turnovers but the offense managed to turn these turnovers into 24 points. This keeps the giants just one game behind the Cowboys.

The most amazing thing in my eyes about this ball club is the way the defense has managed to get its act together. In there first two games loosing both the defense gave up 80 points since then in the last 5 weeks they have only allowed 55. They once again led the Giants to a victory this Sunday and left the offense with an easy task of just protecting the ball.

Fed Framed

Ex FBI agent Lindley DeVecchio went on trial Monday for allegedly teaming up with a bloodthirsty high ranked mobster. These men from the Colombo crime family are furious at DeVechhio for putting them behind bars. The Colombo capo Anthony Russo told an FBI informant "We are going to make the cop the bad guy, we are going to paint this guy as the dirtiest f-----g cop in the world."

DeVecchio is being charged with conspiring to murders committed by Gregory the (grim reaper) Scarpa Sr. who is a Colombo capo and long time FBI informant. He is being charged with the murders of four people between 1984-92 during the so called Colombo war. DeVecchio allegedly identified mob rats and Scarpa then had them taking dirt naps. As a personal tangent to this I can not fathom that a man who is supposed to be putting these people behind bars would throw gasoline into there fire. Therefore he should be sentenced even more harshly then the ones who pulled the trigger themselves.

justice finally delivered to a murderer.

On Wednesday Julian Beltran was sentenced to death for slitting his girlfriend and two young daughters throats. Patricia Panameno finally receives the justice that she has been waiting for five years to be delivered. The estranged Beltran fled the scene leaving behind the nearly decapitated bodies, and proceeded to call 911 and beg for a suicide by cop.

Julian says "Your honor, I have caused a lot of pain," "I beg you to forgive me." He had never before committed a crime, act of violence, and was always a good worker. His defender was trying to persuade the jury into life without parole because he called 911 and actually tried to have himself killed. I hope that the family will find closure without needing to kill him.
