depeche mode
Signed to Sire Records in the U.S., Depeche Mode found initial exposure for their music with club audiences. "Just Can't Get Enough" became a major dance hit, receiving airplay on American alternative radio stations. After a tour of England and Europe, Vince Clark left Depeche Mode to form Yazoo. Alan Wilder then joined the band as the group released its fourth single "The Meaning of Love". A second hit album titled "A Broken Frame" was then released in 1982. In 1983, Depeche Mode released "Construction Time Again", which contained the dance favorite "Everything Counts".
Although depeche mode is way before my time, i must say they are on my favorite bands to listen to. They started a whole new era of music and now every club you go to you will hear at least 5 songs by this artist and not even know its them.

ENDWELL
The first single is “Single & Loving It.” “I started jamming off one riff, showed it to everyone, and we worked on it further,” he says. “It developed into this powerful, energetic song.” The video, directed by Shane Drake (who won the VMA’s Video of the Year Award for directing Panic! At the Disco’s “I Write Sins, Not Tragedies”) was shot against the gothic skyscrapers of New York, promises to be as visually compelling as the song sounds.
This band means a lot to me due to the fact that my friend is a rock star and he is in this band,
I almost passed out when i heard that he was in the band. i don't think i have ever been happier for anyone in my life. They are touring all of Europe next year and for one day i wish i can be in his shoes.
a day to remember
A Day To Remember aren’t exactly the new kids in the pit. All of the band members had played in the Ocala music scene for years until 2003, when the band in its current incarnation came together. Singer Jeremy McKinnon, guitarists Neil Westfall and Tom Denney, bassist Joshua Woodard and drummer Alex Shellnutt knew they had something special during one specific performance on a special day. “Two years ago we played a Fourth of July show in our home town,” Joshua recalls.
A Day To Remember is a band that i have listened to for years they are amazing. They are the greatest influence to me and my friends to start a band. This band is living proof that if you set your mind to something you will be able to do it.
An argument brought up by many about kurts suicide
The next point and the strongest point is that fact that it would of been impossible for him to shoot the shotgun without taking of his shoes. I say with his toes because thats what the police report said. Another valid point is that he was found with his shoes on so obviously there was another person present. The homicide detective until this day are looking to re-open this case because there is to much evidence showing that it was clearly not a suicide.
complete coverage on Kurt Cobains suicide
I am one of the biggest nirvana fans ever, and i totally disagree with him allegedly killing himself. i will get into that in my next blog
To Boddah,
Speaking from the tongue of an experienced simpleton who obviously would rather be an emasculated, infantile complained. This note should be pretty easy to understand. All the warnings from the Punk Rock 101 Courses over the years, it's my first introduction to the, shall we say ethics involved with independence and the embracement of your community has been proven to be very true. I haven't felt the excitement of listening to, as well as creating music, along with really writing something for too many years now. I feel guilty beyond words about these things, for example when we're backstage and the lights go out and the manic roar of the crowd begins. It doesn't affect me in the way which it did for say Freddie Mercury, who seemed to love and relish the love and admiration from the crowd, which is something I totally admire and envy. The fact is, I can't fool you, any of you. It simply isn't fair to you, or to me. The worst crime can think of would be to pull people off by faking it, pretending as if I'm ha ving one 100% fun. Sometimes I feel as though I should have a punch-in time clock before I walk out on-stage. I've tried everything within my power to appreciate it, and I do, God believe me, I do, but it's not enough. I appreciate the fact that I, and we, have affected, and entertained a lot of people. I must be one of the narcisists who only appreciate things when they're alone. I'm too sensitive, I need to be slightly numb in order to regain the enthusiasm. But, what's sad is our child. On our last three tours, I've had a much betterappreciation of all the people I've known personally, and as fans of our music. But I still can't get out the frustration, the guilt, and the sympathy I have for everybody. There is good in all of us, and I simply love people too much. So much that it makes me feel too fucking sad. The sad little sensitive unappreciative pisces Jesus man! why don't you just enjoy it? I dont know! I have a of a wife who sweats ambition and empathy, and a daughter who reminds me to much of what I use to be, full of love and joy, every person she meets because everyone is good and will do her no harm, and that terrifies me to the point to
where I can barely function. I cant stand the thought of Frances becoming the miserable self destructive, deathrocker I become. I have it good, very good, and I'm grateful, but since the age of seven, I've become hateful towards all humans in general. Only because it seems so easy for people to get along and have empathy, EMPATHY. Only because I love and feel for people too much I guess. Thank you from the pit of my burning nauseas stomach for your letters and concern during the last years. I'm too much of a neurotic moody person and I don't have the passion anymore, so remember, it's better to burnout, than fade away. Peace, love, empathy, Kurt Cobain.

an amazing man and ball player
his Number retired in 1939.
Durable, powerhitting first baseman who played in an amazing 2,130 consecutive games between 1925 and 1939. Drove in at least 100 runs for 13 straight seasons (1926-38) and established an American-League record with 184 RBI in 1931. Compiled a .340 lifetime batting average and belted 493 home runs in a career shortened by terminal illness. Was honored at Yankee Stadium on July 4, 1939 and made memorable “Today, I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of the earth” speech. Life was immortalized in classic 1942 motion picture, The Pride of the Yankees, starring Gary Cooper. Elected to the Hall of Fame in 1939.
The life of thurman munson
Thurman Munson was a member of the New York Yankees for 11 years and has been called one of the greatest catchers of the 1970s. He joined the Yankees in 1968 and a year later he was their starting catcher. He started his career out right, winning the 1970 American League Rookie of the Year award when he batted a .302. His intense attitude, sharp thinking and leadership soon earned him the position of team captain.
This was an honor because he was the first named captain since the great Lou Gehrig. He also earned three Gold Gloves due to his defensive playing abilities behind home plate. In 1976 he won the Most Valuable Player award for hitting .302 and 105 RBI's. During his span with the Yankees he led them to three American League pennants and two World Championships.
His baseball career was cut tragically short when he died in an airplane accident while practicing landing. He is not forgotten today, and a replica of his locker containing everything from his spikes to his catchers' mitt is on display at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, New York.

Boston is moving to the ship
The Boston Red sox are set to face
Giants take Fifth Straight win
It is no wonder how the giants took there fifth win in a row over the 49ers. The defense did the job by forcing four turnovers but the offense managed to turn these turnovers into 24 points. This keeps the giants just one game behind the Cowboys.

Fed Framed
DeVecchio is being charged with conspiring to murders committed by Gregory the (grim reaper) Scarpa Sr. who is a Colombo capo and long time FBI informant. He is being charged with the murders of four people between 1984-92 during the so called Colombo war. DeVecchio allegedly identified mob rats and Scarpa then had them taking dirt naps. As a personal tangent to this I can not fathom that a man who is supposed to be putting these people behind bars would throw gasoline into there fire. Therefore he should be sentenced even more harshly then the ones who pulled the trigger themselves.

justice finally delivered to a murderer.
Julian says "Your honor, I have caused a lot of pain," "I beg you to forgive me." He had never before committed a crime, act of violence, and was always a good worker. His defender was trying to persuade the jury into life without parole because he called 911 and actually tried to have himself killed. I hope that the family will find closure without needing to kill him.

DUI takes one more
The man who was struck was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The other a 21 year old man is critically injured in the hospital with disclosed injuries.
The part that strikes me as inhumane is that fact that the driver fled the scene knowing that one of his passengers were injured, and another man was killed. I am glad justice has occurred and he is being charged with driving while intoxicated and criminally negligent homicide.

THE WAYS OF LAW
There is a never ending list of what laws are there for. They maintain order, enforce many moral beliefs, promote social order, and most importantly to identify wrong doers. There is a rule behind law to maintain justice, the purpose is to govern based upon established principles that apply to all.
You may not agree with these laws but in the words of John F Kennedy "Americans are free to disagree with the law, but not disobey it"

The ninja
Many on Staten Island are infatuated with this thief, almost to the point that we are almost rooting for him. When you are out late some almost hope to run into this man. Although on the other side of the spectrum we have a whole squad including 24 police officers, 12 detective and two tasks forces I will assure you that his party will be shut down soon.

why i write
The piece of literature by Terry Tempest Williams seems to be an escape route or a way to freedom for the author. I say this due to the fact that every negative or unfavorable situation is solved in a positive way by writing. Such as writing himself out of nightmares and into his dreams. I also believe that he writes to express the way he feels during bad times good times and dark times. Which in my eyes is more or less the whole point of this piece. “I write to record what I love in the face of loss”, “I write out of my anger and into my passion” the previous two quotes are some of many examples of how he uses writing to resolve and soften a situation. Another discovery I made after reading the passage is that he feels writing can be used in literally or almost every situation. Also that writing has just as much or more power than speaking, and that it has all the same risks as well. This passage in my eyes explains to you that writing is one of the most meaningful forms of communicating, and that there is no situation or mood necessary simply it can always be applied. The title Why I Write is misleading due to the fact that there is no specific reason. As a reader you learn that almost every situation is concluded with writing.
